Experience 7 days of e-mail, tweets, & real live situations involving racism, homophobia, antisemitism, and HIV discrimination from the perspective of 3 different Gay Americans in real time: William, an African American; Oscar, a Latino; and Jared, a Jewish man with HIV.RESIST Racism is a free immersive game played over a week, offering you insights to intolerance. How would you react to racial, ethnic and religious insults and insensitivity? You'll receive simulated e-mails, tweets, texts, and videos in real time over 7 days as if you were one of these characters. You'll be asked to respond, and then get some feedback.
Within this App, you have the option to change to any of the three characters.
Inspired by the Australian Everyday Racism app produced by All Together Now, RESIST Racism was created by the National Association of Black and White Men Together, Inc. in association with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside App Factory.
